Hi Eliana, tell us something about yourself.
I am 21 years old and I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, place where I currently live. I am a film and photography student.

Why did you choose analog photography?
I chose analog photography because most of my photos are in color and I feel that the support helps me a lot to achieve the colors that I see in reality, I also believe that there is something in the practice of the eye that is very interesting. With practice you can know more or less if the photo is going to be like you imagined it without having even seen the result.

What do you like to photograph?
I like photography because it helps me remember things. It is a way to return to places, people, aromas and sensations. It reminds me of what is important in life and it makes me understand what is happening in my head at that moment.

Which cameras and films do you use?
I mainly use my Nikon FM, and sometimes my Yashica MAT LM. My favorite rolls are Ektar 100, Portra 400 and Pro Image 100.

What kind of picture would you like to take?
I would like to improve my portraits. It seems very important to me to rescue what each one has to say and I believe that the portrait is one of those tools. I think the ideal thing would be to see myself reflected in those people I photograph. I would love that even without seeing me, I’m there with them.

Do you have a favorite photographer?
I have a lot of references. More now that we all have instagram and we are always meeting new people. I could not say that a person is my favorite photographer because I could not choose between so many.
